Cherished Works From The Hands & Heart of Colette Wolf
Platypus Designs was founded in 1969 by fiber and textile artist Colette Wolff as a mail-order company for original sewing patterns. At its peak, the Platypus catalog offered 50 items — pattern booklets for fabric dolls, stuffed toys, and quilts — reflecting Colette’s mastery of fabric manipulation, soft sculpture, and cloth doll design. Though the company ceased operations in the mid-1990s, demand for these patterns never stopped.
